Pono_088 - Black Monospace Pixel Font

Pono_088 is a typeface inspired by the Golden Age of Arcade Games from the 70's to 80's.

The type used in arcade machines are born out of struggle for efficency and memory space.

Pono_088 tackles the same challenge just like the ones from the era, but this time instead of balancing the space in a 8*8 grid it is aimed to have a strong presence on the area it is used and fill as much space on the base grid.

With strict boundries over the grid and conserving aesthetics of pixel fonts of the era, the font is heavy yet readable. It is suitable for titles, and using as big graphic elements. It is mainly intended for the people of game development and an homage for gaming culture.

Note: Keep in mind that there body text here is itch's standard font and not the one I have created!
